"Traditional Catholic Church"
"Thou art dust and into dust thou shalt return."

Today is Ash Wednesday, the traditional Catholic Church marks the beginning of the liturgical Season of Lent. The Priest blesses the ashes with special prayers, sprinkles them with Holy Water and incenses them. He then put the ashes on the forehead of the faithful with the words: "Remember, man, that thou art dust, and unto dust thou shalt return." This day starts the sorrowful season until Easter Sunday. Traditional Catholics are required to do fasting during any Lent season.
