Today the Traditional Catholic Church also celebrates the Feast of Saint Pius V, Pope, Confessor. Saint Pius V, of the Dominican Order, was a Pope of great and Holy sanctity. His pontificate was one of the most glorious of the 16th century. He enforced obedience to the decrees of the Council of Trent, and revised the Missal and Breviary. He faithfully passed away in the year 1572.
