Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of Saint Bede the Venerable, Confessor. He lived in the 8th century, he was a member of the Order of Saint Benedict. Because of the enormous amount of his writings, full of sound doctrine, he was called " Venerable" while still living. He is rightly called "The Father of English History." He faithfully past away in the year 735.
