Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of, Saint Mary Magdalen, Penitent. Mary Magdalen, the sister of Martha and Lazarus, was directly converted from a life of sin by our Lord Jesus Himself. Our Lord Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead at her urgent request. She was one of the few faithful souls who remained with Christ during His agony on the cross. After our Lord's Resurrection, He appeared to her and told her to announce His Resurrection to the Apostles.
