Today the Traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of, Saint Ignatius of Loyola, Confessor. He was born in the year 1491 at the regal Castle of Loyola, Spain, He became a famous courtier and knight in the court of Ferdinand V. He was wounded in the seige of Pampeluna, He then retired to Manresa to lead a life of prayer and contemplation. After being ordained a priest, he founded the Society of Jesus to fight the forces of Satan as represented by pagans, Mohammedans, Protestants, Jansenists, etc. He faithfully pasted away in the Grace of God in the year 1556.
