Today the traditional Catholic Church also celebrates a Mass in honor of, Saint Nicomedes, Martyr. Born at Rome, Saint Nicomedes was ordered to sacrifice to false gods. Upon refusing, he was martyred for the true Faith during the reign of Domitian, it was about the year 90 AD.
