Today the traditional Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of, Saint Peter Of Alcantara, Confessor. He was born at Alcantara, Spain. Saint Peter reestablished the primitive rule of the Franciscan Order, which he joined when, at the age of 16 years old. He aided Saint Teresa of Avila with his counsels in the reform of the Carmelite Order.
